The Ahoskie Creek Recreation Complex is available for events and programs associated with the Town of Ahoskie, local governmental entities, groups dedicated to the promotion of the civic, cultural, educational, and informational needs of the community, and local businesses. Miracle on Main is located at the end of Main Street Outside includes Wood Park, which has playground, volleyball court, picnic tables, and grills.
Recreational Complex
The area is located on Lakeview Drive and includes three 300 ft ball fields, three picnic shelters, concession stand, restrooms, three picnic tables, horseshoe court, volleyball court, soccer fields, playground, amphitheater, large open spaces, and a new fitness trail.
Mitchell Park
This is located on Hwy 42 and includes grills, restrooms, picnic tables, benches, bike rack, and parking lot.
Futrell Park
This is located on Richard Street that includes basketball court, picnic table, benches, swings, and trash cans.
Hall Park
This is located on CC Rd and includes playground, picnic tables, and large open area.
The Gallery Theatre is a cultural center which provides live entertainment, with both local and imported talent. The theatre also maintains an art gallery. Presentations include musicals, plays, children’s theater, and dance.
The Beechwood Country Club offers members swimming, tennis, golf, and picnics. Dances, dinners, meetings and other social functions are held in the attractive club house.
Tuscarora Green Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole golf course and is open to the public.
For those who enjoy hunting and fishing, an abundance of wild game and numerous waterways provide the necessary game throughout the year.
